Immortal: Unchained is a hardcore action role-playing game (RPG). You step into the shoes of a living weapon, unleashed to stop the source of a cataclysmic event threatening to end all worlds. The goal is to discover secrets, master the unique gun combat, and defeat legendary bosses.
Immortal: Unchained should launch on September 7, 2018, priced at $49.99. You can preorder it now on the Xbox Store for $44.99. The game features Xbox One X enhancements, but it's unclear what they entail.
While a lot of games are compared to Dark Souls, Immortal: Unchained is different because it focuses on gunplay more than anything else. There are elements that every game in the hardcore RPG genre share, but how the protagonist dishes out damage varies greatly in this game.
