Why I'm recommending Dell's discounted 16 Plus laptop for most of our readers
Dell has a bunch of devices on sale for a limited time during Memorial Day weekend, but I'm calling out the Dell 16 Plus laptop for most readers here at Windows Central. It's a perfect PC for productivity and multitasking.
It usually costs $1,429.99 but is now discounted to just $899.99. I don't expect that huge $530 discount to stick around for long.
At this discounted $899 price, the hardware you get is well above average. The laptop runs on an Intel Core Ultra 7 256V CPU, which has plenty of power for browsing, streaming, email, productivity, spreadsheets, etc.
And because it has a powerful NPU inside, it's perfectly compatible with all of the latest Windows 11 Copilot+ AI tools. You certainly don't need to use the AI tools, but it's nice to have a laptop that can run them if you change your mind.
The CPU is joined by 16GB of LPDDR5x-8533 RAM and a 1TB M.2 PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD. These speedy components contribute to the overall snappy feel of the laptop, making boot times and app loading a brief process.
