What you need to know

  • Halo Infinite's campaign just released and critics, including here at Windows Central, are calling it one of the best entries in the series history.
  • Xbox and PC Game Pass users can enjoy the campaign for free as part of their service when it launches publicly on Dec. 8.
  • Here's how you can use current deals offered by Microsoft to get Game Pass for only a $1 on your platform of choice.

Halo Infinite campaign reviews just went live, and they've been positive. We at Windows Central loved it. However, if you aren't an active Xbox Game Pass subscriber or are looking to enjoy the game without committing to buying a month of Game Pass at full price, here's how you can make use of the current deals to get Game Pass, and by proxy Halo Infinite's campaign, for only a $1.

MIcrosoft is currently running promotions for people who are returning or new subscribers to Game Pass on Xbox and PC. First off, PC players can buy Game Pass for three months for only $1.

Xbox players (this includes Xbox One and Xbox Series consoles) can also buy Game Pass for one month for only $1.

Whatever platform you choose to play Halo Infinite campaign on, the deal gives you enough time to play the game on your platform of choice.

You can also revisit the deal (if its still up) when Forge and co-op mode launch later in 2022, allowing you to try the new game modes out by yourself or with friends.

  • This really isn't anything new. You can just create a new account and signup for $1 anytime. All you gotta do is download that new profile onto your Xbox and Gamepass Ultimate is shared with all accounts on the Xbox including your main one.
  • Yeah, that can technically get you banned as you are skirting the ToS. I know they don't really enforce it, but they could one day. I would rather not have my console or my 16+ year old Gamertag get permanently banned.
  • I have been doing this on and off since 2017 - early 2018 I believe. From when you could signup for 1$, I don't remember exactly when. If they were going to ban anyone they would ban a long time exploiter like me by now. I just switch it up and do one or two months for $1 then pay for a month then go back and do $1/m again. Pre paid credit cards are excellent for this because after adding / removing your payment card so many times it will not let you link your card.
