HyperX's battle-scarred Gears of War gaming headset is now shipping

HyperX has announced that its Gears of War gaming headset is now ready to ship out to customers. Based on HyperX's Cloud Revolver design, the headset sports a custom Gears of War paint job that matches up nicely with the upcoming Gears of War 4 Xbox One S console from Microsoft.

Here's a breakdown of what you can expect out of the HyperX CloudX Revolver Gears of War headset:

  • Exclusive Gears of War custom design
  • Official Xbox licensed headset
  • Studio-grade sound stage
  • In-line audio control
  • Genuine leather headband
  • Signature HyperX memory foam
  • Durable steel frame
  • Detachable noise-cancellation microphone

If you're a big Gears of War fan, this is definitely an interesting offering from the folks at HyperX — especially if you're already picking up the matching red Xbox One S bundle (opens in new tab).

We plan to have a review on this headset up soon. In the meantime, you can order the headset from Gamestop (opens in new tab) for $150, and be sure to let us know what you think in the comments!

  • Good old GameStop, let's add another 50 dollars on the price of a product just because it is a special edition. Has anyone used these and compared them to the Cloud 2 or CloudX? I'm curious if the headband is more comfortable with this style change. I would imagine the ear cups feel the same.
  • Man, that paint job is sick. Posted via the Windows Central App for Android
