King's game Paradise Bay arrives for Windows 10 and Mobile as a UWP

It is no secret that King has entered a unique partnership with Microsoft. In the last few months, we have seen Candy Crush Saga, Soda Soga, Jelly Saga and Papa Pear Saga arrive as universal apps for Windows 10.

Today, we can add one more to that roster with the release of Paradise Bay for Windows 10 and Mobile. What's neat about this release is this is not yet another puzzle game but instead focuses on trading and island building. Paradise Bay has been compared to Zynga's CastleVille Legends and Farmville as it involves some grinding and structure building to get ahead.

Originally released just over a year ago for iOS the game is now available for those on phone or PC and tablet.

Game features include:

  • Create and customize your perfect paradise
  • Explore and expand your island to unlock its secrets
  • Collect long-lost map pieces to discover new areas of the world
  • Discover and nurture the island's animals
  • Harvest raw resources and craft valuable goods
  • Trade with islanders, merchant ships, and friends
  • Buy and sell valuables in the bustling marketplace
  • Dive deep and uncover treasures lost at sea

Like all of King's games Paradise Bay is available for free but there are the usual (and optional) in-app purchases to jump ahead in riches.

Check out the video trailer above or just download it and let us know what you think! Paradise Bay is available for PC and Phone.

  • I played it about an hour, then I rated it 5 star before uninstalling. Excellent game but not for me, FarmVille style with a twist. Lumia 640 XL Dual SIM

  • You can appreciate quality without liking the product +640/Win 10

  • It's happening, people, it's happening!
  • Your waters broken there, horse?
  • All these games coming without Live support..smh BioResearch & Games.
  • Oh get over it already. I would rather have games come without love support than not come at all
  • Like Plants vs Zombies 2?
  • So you would rather the game not come at all?
  • What do you mean with Live Support? LIVE tile? xbox LIVE?
  • Looks gay as.
  • Not the proper thing to say at all
  • Is your vocabulary so small that you need to associate a Word that describes someone's sexuality with something that, in your opinion, is bad?
  • Jason De Castro for President.
  • I keep getting session ended while loading at about 75%, when I manage to get in I'm already lvl9 @_@, wtf?
  • is your dad, by any chance, chuck norris? that'd explain it.
  • Too bad all their games require Facebook for any social interaction.
  • Well, Facebook is probably the largest social interaction site in existance, so..

  • Excellent! Partnerships are what Microsoft need to bridge the app gap.. More the merrier! Posted from Windows Central app, Built for Windows 10.
  • Microsoft needs to partner with the OEMs lol
  • So this game hit's Windows 10 before going to Android? Must be a bitter pil to swallow for al the haters who have been repeating over and over that no mobile developer is going to get warm for the UWP as it's majority of users is on PC, so WP/WM is not going to get any better from the UWP as smartphone sales are only a tiny fraction of total Windows sales. The fact that this game came to Windows 10 before Android proves otherwise!
  • Are you sure?
  • I assumed as much by reading the article. But after your comment I got on bing to check if it was on Android or not, and it is on Android. So my apologies, sadly I was wrong :(
  • I'm sure there's one game or another, but not this one. sorry.
  • Does it sync saves across your devices? I LOVE when apps run across devices and think it's a massive pull to the Windows store. It loses most of it's charm when developers don't implement any sort of progress sync though. I'm guessing this one does, but you never know.
  • I believe it does, if you link up a Facebook/King account. I don't play this game, but all the other King games I've played sync your progress, so I don't think this one would be different.
  • It does. I have it on my Windows 10 laptop as well as my Fierce XL and it does indeed sync across. I am logged into both instances through my Facebook account, which may be the trigger.
  • Please upload clash of clans
  • Clash of clans
  • I love this game. I tried installing it on my laptop. Unfortantely my lap top is not compatable. Its hard to see using my android phone. Is there anyway I can get the right compatability to play on my windows 10 laptop?Thankyou
