Microsoft Band 2 now available online in Australia

The Microsoft Band 2 is now available for purchase from the online Microsoft Store in Australia, following a short period of open pre-orders. The fitness wearable, which was previously only available from the recently-opened Mcirosoft Store in Sydney, will set you back AU$379.99 with free delivery.

If you managed to get an order in when the wearable went up for pre-order earlier this month, you should also expect your Band to ship from today. Otherwise, if you happen to call Australia home, you can hit up the link below to grab yourself a Microsoft Band 2 from the company's online store.

  • Hello
  • Is it me you're looking for?
  • I can see it in your eyes I can see it in your smile
  • Why would I want this I'm thinking to go bCk to 8.1 , edge keeps freezing, and might even jump ship and goto android for 12months n see if it's worth returning then. All seriousness I'm a wimo fan, but it's beyond a joke
  • Reach out and fell it....
  • Why Microsoft stopped the health & fitness app???
  • Huh? I use this app every day. It's the native app for managing your Band.
  • Health is available, but they discontinued Health and Fitness, which was much better. I also can only seem to get the Health app on W10M not 8.1.
  • That's how Nadella rolls.
  • Picked mine up from the Sydney Microsoft Store opening in November and love it, big improvement over the first gen Band, the music controls, Australian golf course tracking and Cortana integration of the Health app have been great additions
  • I got mine a week ago also from the sydney Microsoft store and through the Lumia offer app paste in the promote code, got myself a free Display dock. If you haven't yet, hurry while stock last. Edit: Free display dock only got your L950/ 950 xl.
  • Same here. Had an issue it didn't power up last month. Replaced straight away. The replacement isn't as flush where the glass meets the band. MS said just come in later and replace it Posted via the Windows Central App for Android
  • Must resist, must resist.
  • How's the price for you Aussies out there good or bad? Posted via the Windows Central App for Nexus 5x
  • Worked out to be pretty much the same once you converted the weak Aussie dollar to USD.
  • for your info it's AUD379.99
  • I consider it a little high, but it's on par with similarly functioning devices. It converts to US$ 262, as our dollar plummeted last year. That price includes all taxes, if that makes a difference.
  • Just got an email from JB Hi-Fi here in Aus as well, selling them online for $379.00.  That's a whole $0.99 cheaper than Microsoft, people!  Get on it!  Oh ... they're only listing "Medium" size ...  https://www.jbhifi.com.au/deals/Ipods-Docks--Sport/microsoft-band/
  • They've got a full display in JB stores too. But their display looks like they are stocking all sizes
  • Niiiiice.  My Band 1 was a grey import, and I was never confident ordering it based on the online sizing chart.  Bought a medium, should have definitely gone the large.  Guess I'm off to JB tomorrow to see how the new ones fit.  Thanks for the heads-up re: in-store presence!
  • Me too! Available IN STORE NOW at JB HiFi. Annoying thing is I tipped Windows Central off about this already. :p Posted via the Windows Central App for Android
  • Wen in India ?
  • When is it coming to India?
  • When is it coming to South Africa
  • When in Brazil?
  • May their GODS bless all fantastic folk from India
  • Guys I want to buy a smartwatch can someone recommend me anything.w10 640XL max.price 150$
  • Band1 was pretty good and cheap now Posted via the Windows Central App for Android
  • I prefer smartwatches be like just normal watches with steal bracelet etc
  • Love mine. Just wish there was more updates and more apps.
  • No big deal. Does not work well with mobile 10. Communication through Bluetooth seems mostly broken. Cortana and keyboard response to text messages that come though fails 80% of the time. 950 Lumia too.
  • also just became available at jhifi in store! so you can walk in and try one on. I just did and bought one. got them to drop the price to $368 as well.
