Microsoft Edge is officially picking up tablet support with its latest updates on Android and iOS. Following a brief period of beta testing that started earlier in March, Microsoft is rolling out support for iPad and Android tablets to everyone across both platforms.
In terms of features, Edge on tablets supports the same basic bits as it does on phones. You'll find that the same "Continue on PC" option is available here, as is the ability to sync passwords, favorites, and reading lists between devices. The biggest change is that the interface has been scaled up and customized to fit the larger screens available Apple's iPads and Android tablets.
Aside from tablet support, Microsoft says each version has also been updated with improvements to the sign-in and sign-out experience, as well as general performance improvements.
If you're giving Microsoft Edge a go on either platform, you can pick up tablet support with the latest updates available now via Google Play and the App Store.
