Minecraft brings Natural texture pack to Pocket and Windows 10 Editions

A fresh update is rolling out to both Minecraft Pocket and Windows 10 editions. While much of the 0.15.7 update concerns various bug fixes and tweaks, it does bring the Natural texture pack to both editions. If you happen to be playing Minecraft Windows 10 Edition on an Oculus Rift, you'll be happy to know that the latest update also includes a number of fixes that should make the experience much better.

From Mojang:

Much of the effort has gone into resolving issues with the Oculus Rift features on Windows 10, but we also added support for the Natural texture pack, so you can enjoy higher-res textures and more realistic sheep faces - that's 108 extra pixels for every inscrutable ruminant stare. Wow!

Of course, if you want to take advantage of those higher-res textures in the Natural pack, you will have to shell out $2.99 — a price that's more than justified by the sheep faces alone.

For a comprehensive list of bug fixes and changes, be sure to check out Mojang's full blog post for more. In the meantime, you should be able to nab the update for both versions from the Windows Store now.

  • Http://beam.pro/windowscentral ugg.
  • Natural Texture pack is the one I most recommend. It's hard to go back to the default textures after experiencing the Natural one.
  • Once could say it is the 'natural' choice! *ba dum tssss*
  • Nice. But I love vanilla.
  • they have to pay me for using the windows 10 edition over the java not me pay them
  • I may end up playing more of the Windows 10 Edition, once I have perused the recent feature addition list...To see if this version is caught up to the Java Minecraft in terms of features. I do like how buttery smooth Windows 10 Minecraft runs in comparison to Java Minecraft, which sometimes has mild stutters.
  • Custom texture support when? I don't want to pay for something I am able to do for free in the Java version.
  • custom texture pack support :--/
  • Nice.
