Recently, Capcom announced that Monster Hunter: World - Iceborne was launching on September 6. Iceborne is an upcoming expansion which takes players to a new region covered with snow. As expected, there's a new mystery to unravel, with even more dangerous dragons to hunt.

Ahead of the debut of Monster Hunter World: Iceborne gameplay at E3 2019, Capcom just released a new trailer that gives us a look at the story. The publisher said the following about the expansion.

Picking up from the end of the storyline in Monster Hunter: World - Iceborne has players joining forces with the Research Commission once again to explore the undiscovered new land of Hoarfrost Reach, which will be the largest map in the game. Following an unusual sighting of Legiana from the Ancient Forest, the team journeys across the waters to a new locale with a frigid climate covered in snow and ice. As pioneers, the group soon sets up a new base camp in Hoarfrost Reach called Seliana, which serves as a warm haven with resources to prepare them for the challenging quests that await.

Monster Hunter: World - Iceborne will add new monsters and so much more. For example, the "Tigrex" has a powerful roar and unpredictable moves. Additionally, the "Shrieking Legiana" is an extreme variant of the Legiana from the base game.
