New Dragon Age information should be revealed in December (update)

Updated December 6, 2018: Dragon Age 4 was confirmed by BioWare at The Game Awards 2018.

Almost a year ago, BioWare Producer Mark Darrah confirmed that the developer was hard at work on Anthem and the next Dragon Age game. Darrah said that he was the Executive Producer for both, and that "there are people hard at work on both franchises." He also added that the next Dragon Age game will focus on continuing the story after the main campaign ends. This seems to indicate that development is currently going strong for the next entry in the Dragon Age franchise. We might just see the title sooner rather than later.

Today, BioWare General Manager Casey Hudson said that more information about the next Dragon Age game should drop next month. Hudson said the following in a blog post.

If you've been following these blogs, or myself and Mark Darrah on Twitter, you know we're also working on some secret Dragon Age stuff. Dragon Age is an incredibly important franchise in our studio, and we're excited to continue its legacy. Look for more on this in the coming month... I won't tell you where to look.

It's unclear what Hudson meant when he said "I won't tell you where to look." Maybe they're going to be a teaser at The Game Awards 2018 next month? Only time will tell. Hopefully the title will live up to the expectations and not turn out like Mass Effect: Andromeda. We've seen a lot of games crumble recently due to poor quality control.
