The music writing app StaffPad will get a big Windows 10 update soon

StaffPad launched their popular music writing app for Windows 8.1 in March, but the development team behind the app is not sitting around. It has revealed plans to update StaffPad to fully support Windows 10 soon, with a new user interface and more.

StaffPad states:

"In the coming weeks, we'll be extensively updating StaffPad's UI and codebase to fully embrace the Windows 10 design ethos, features and experience. We're really excited by the work we're doing here. The new StaffPad will not only look gorgeous on Windows 10, but it'll retain the elegance, workflow and intuitive simplicity that you already know."

In the meantime, the current version of the StaffPad app in the Windows Store can still be used on Windows 10, but the blog points out that the changes in running Windows 8.1 apps on Windows 10 will also extend to StaffPad as well. For example, while apps can now run in a window, StaffPad is designed to be a full-screen app and should be used in that mode.
