At Windows Central, we always try to bring you news of exciting, smaller games. Today, Quern: Undying Thoughts hit Xbox One. Did you ever play Myst as a child? This game is similar and also requires you to slowly unravel the world's mysteries. You can take a look at the spooky trailer below. It's been available on PC for a while now.

Discover the truth about Quern's past, unfold the mysteries of its present, and be the explorer who shapes its future. Quern introduces reusable puzzle mechanics to the classic genre, making the player think about the game as a whole, and not just as a series of individual challenges.

Quern: Undying Thoughts costs $19.49 on the Microsoft Store and is roughly a 7 GB download. If you're into atmospheric puzzle games that rely on exploration, give this one a go. I've been playing it since this morning and absolutely love it!

  • Sounds like a good future Game Pass title.
  • I've played this on Steam, very nice game. I perfer it over Myst' Obduction. Nice to see it heading towards the Xbox, will probably pick it up for another casual play through.
  • I don't like Obduction to be honest. I think the setting just didn't click for me.
