New Samsung Focus ad surfaces
By George Ponder last updated
The latest ad for the Samsung Focus from AT&T is a cleaner, more straight forward ad (no orange fuzzy creatures) that highlights the functionality of the Windows Phone.
The new ad focuses on the thousands of Marketplace applications for Windows Phone 7 as well as key features such as Microsoft Office and Xbox Live integration. The ad gives apps such as Netflix, Open Table, Fandango, Yelp, Amazon Kindle Reader and others a brief cameo.
While Windows Phones 7 has taken it on the chin this week with the update headaches, the ad does remind us that these phones aren't too shabby as is.

Finally!!!! A Great WP7 Ad!!! hallelujah
-
Truly a great Ad!!! Just show the phone, The OS will do the rest

THey really like to pimp the Focus, guess it's the leading WP7 seller. Time to see some of these with other phones though.

I think this is a really cool ad from Microsoft not Att. It was uploaded to the Windows Phone Youtube account for all Microsoft ads. So lets give Microsoft credit for this well done ad!

I agree. Voice-over is Bradley Cooper, who Microsoft has been using for several of their ad campaigns including WP and "to the cloud".

Yeap, short sweet and to the point ad. Highlights precisely why I love my phone. Yey!

I feel like this could be very effective. Especially since they (smartly) included the Netflix app in the ad. Netflix and Android (who really is WP7 biggest competitor) is not a happy situation and I feel like it could be one of WP7's killer apps over android.

Good. Bring in the people over!

Ugh I really want to ditch my iPhone 3 and get one of these. I hope the Office Apps are user friendly, but even if not, anything would be an upgrade from my glitchy iPhone. Ah, and I love that song in the background, Sleigh Bells are awesome (which also makes me hope that iTunes runs smoothly on this phone).
