New Windows Phone Mango advert [Video]
A new advert has been uploaded to the Windows Phone YouTube account that shows off the top features in Mango. The music is definitely familiar (from a previous video) and suits the platform well with the sleek look of Metro and the elegant device. This seems like the user-orientated brother to the developer advert (opens in new tab) we covered earlier this month. Still up-beat, still awesome.

I smell Brandon Foy all over this thing. Great ad.

Winning! :D

It's a great ad, but I prefer the music from the original (with the "hello" song).
-
yep, I definitely like the soundtrack on that one, though this isn't bad either. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cBISUhRIiSE&feature=relmfu

"This video is not available in your country." Jesus. -_-

Want this advert featured at the CES Microsoft show or some other Microsoft show awhile back?
-
It had the same song I believe as it's by Mr Brandon Foy :-P

Are we seeing these adverts on TV or just youtube? I don't watch much live TV, so that's why I'm curious.I enjoyed the ad. I hope it's being shown in more places than just the internet.

smart ad, touches key points but misses a tad in some places.

One of the problems, I feel, is having to read the features while you're trying to look at them being shown off on the phone. One of the things I always feel MS has to work on is putting out less info, but getting more impact.

Show maybe 2 or 3 features working in real time - no text needed. Break this into 4 commercials and you'd get attention. When I show people how I respond to a text, pin an app with a live tile or write on a wall their jaws drop.
