Nokia Lumia 520 available at Orange FR for just a single euro

Orange in France has the Lumia 520 listed on its website. The Nokia Windows Phone 8 smartphone is the cheapest device the manufacturer has released, running Microsoft's operating system. Announced back at Mobile World Congress earlier this year, it's good to see the device heading to more mobile operators across Europe. So how much will consumers have to pay to pick one up?

The Lumia 520 is listed for 1 euro when taken out with a 24-month contract (24 euros a month), along with a 39 euro option (19 euros a month for 24-months). It's in both blue and black (latter currently unavailable) and specifications include a 4-inch LCD display (480x800), dual-core 1GHz chip, 8GB internal storage (with SD support), 512MB RAM and has a 5MP rear shooter. What's unique about the Lumia 520 is how Nokia has managed to include Sensitive Touch, much like what's available on the Lumia 920.

If you're looking at a cheap, but efficient Windows Phone the Lumia 520 may well be the perfect choice.
