Purchase a AT&T Windows Phone through Microsoft and bag a free Nokia Lumia 520

For one day only, Microsoft Store is offering a free Nokia Lumia 520 with select Windows Phone purchases. Should you be looking at a shiny new Nokia Lumia 925, Lumia 1020, Lumia 1520 or even the Samsung ATIV S Neo on AT&T, the company will also bundle a no-contract Lumia 520 at no extra cost. It's a perfect deal for someone in the family who desires a new smartphone for Christmas.
There is a slight catch with the deal when we look at the Lumia 1520 since AT&T has the Windows Phone listed for $99, when taken out with a two-year plan.
Microsoft Store has the very same smartphone for $199, so you're essentially paying the free Lumia 520 in this case. However, Microsoft packs a $50 Windows Phone Store gift card with the Lumia 1520, while AT&T includes a $20 gift card - both include a free copy of Halo: Spartan Assault.
For the Nokia Lumia 925, Lumia 1020 or Samsung ATIV S Neo it's still a sweet deal. Do note that this deal is available to US residents only and ends today. See supported handsets through the store link below.

That's a great deal....
-
That's like dividing by 0. Nothing great about it on the Lumia 1520.
-
Commence the "Why U.S. only??" comments now...
-
Yes, why are the top Nokia phones in U.S. only limited to the suckiest, greediest, iphoniest carrier so they always have to be pushed with discounts and perks? Posted by a T-Mobile customer who would pay the full price with no complaints for a Lumia 1020 or 1520.
-
Completely agree on the carrier part. I would have loved the 1020 or 925 on Verizon, not a variant of it. Love the 928 but I think the amount of choices confuses people.
-
Damn.
-
I bought the 520 for $50 at the MS Store at Columbus Circle to replace my 900 until my contract ends. And I can tell you its fantastic. This is a good deal.
-
The Columbus circle little booth is still there?
-
Yes it is on the third floor.
-
it got bigger actually and they have more stuff, even have a decent inventory of stuff too as they keep it stored elsewhere in the mall and bring it out once you buy.
-
That's a great deal, especially if one wants a first smartphone for a child.
-
Exactly what I'm going to do with the 520.
-
They are sure flooding the market with this one. I think its time they introduce a Moto G like phone - 720p screen, 1gb of ram, 16gb internal memory with expandable slot, 8MP camera with flash, 1.2mp ffc, colorful polycarbonate matte shells, $199 no contract. ALL CARRIERS.
-
Agree. They need a response to Moto G.
-
Hopefully that'll be the 525.
-
That isn't going to be the 525 unfortunately. http://www.wpcentral.com/nokia-officially-reveals-lumia-525
-
Us needs windows growth that's why
-
Sad that this is US only. But any deal that could potentially net us a user base increase is very welcome news! :D
-
Actually, you may be able to have your cake and eat it too, as Microsoft stores price match other stores - hence how I got my 1520 on day one for $99 and a $50 gift card. However, I don't know if they'll let you get away with combining so many offers- might as well check it out and see.
-
My girlfriend just got a 1020 two days ago (with my recommendation of course) off contract. Gotta go and see if I can hustle them into giving up a 520 as well. I did get them to take $100 off from $600 price though.
-
That's a garbage deal. My mom was about to get the 1520 for 99$ plus a 50$ app card but the deal is gone
-
There is still this deal at Microsoft store ...
-
Please can you link this deal? Haven't been able to find it
-
This is bull. I just bought a1020 and 520
-
And I have a 920
