No-one really needs their mousepad to light up, but it sure does look pretty. And when it's a mousepad as good as the Razer Goliathus, it's not entirely a gimmick.

We've already reviewed the little one, but today Razer is releasing the one we really wanted all along: The Goliathus Extended Chroma.

Essentially it's the exact same deal as the smaller Goliathus Chroma, it's just bigger. Much, much bigger. The Extended is 920mm (36.2 inches) long and 294mm (11.5 inches) tall. And as with the smaller one, there's a Chroma lighting strip sewn into the edge, connecting to your PC via USB and controlled with Razer Synapse.

There have been RGB mousepads before, but so far (and definitely correct me if I'm wrong on this) none this big. The Goliathus Chroma is available to buy right now from Razer for $59.99/£59.99.
