Red Dead Redemption 2 trailer revealed, watch right here!

Red Dead Redemption was a ground-breaking Xbox 360 game set in the wild west, where players took on the role of John Marston in an unprecedented open-world that continues to influence game design even today. Mere rumors of Red Dead Redemption hitting backwards compatibility on Xbox One were enough to push the game back into the Amazon best sellers list, months before it actually arrived.

The brief first trailer for Red Dead Redemption 2 offers a glimpse at what fans can expect from the game's world.

Red Dead Redemption 2 will arrive in the Fall of 2017, for Xbox One and PS4.

  • I see animals and more animals
  • Okay, okay, now I have to complete the first one. That looked dam good.
  • Please tell me this time there is a PC release! I'll even accept it as a Xbox play anywhere title on the windows store.
  • Ps4 and Xbox one......for now.
  • The only console exclusive game that I wish would come to PC.
  • Second!
  • Wow thats a pretty game.
  • I already see this bundled with first game in backward compatibility all for xbox one or scorpio when it releases in 2017... Posted via the Windows Central App for Android
  • The first one was excellent I just hope the second lives up to it.
  • What crap!  I KNOW that I wiped out all of those bison...
  • While playing the game, I read somewhere that I had to kill the bisons to unlock an achievement. I did that, and came to know afterwards that they don't respawn like other animals.. D:
  • Yeah, one of the few achievements that make you feel like the ultimate @$$hole when you get it. I think I actually did it on a different save.
  • Looks awesome! I loved the previous game. One question: Why pre-order a year in advance? With digital download now, it's not like you have to worry about your local store being sold out on launch day.
  • Yeah, that's a great point. Maybe they should start coming up with some digital preorder incentives.
  • I would possibly buy a new console just for this game. The first one was that good.
  • Need to start petition for the PC version!!
  • Never played the first one. Was it really that amazing? Or was it more like Bioshock?
  • Bioshock?!?
Try more like GTA on horses! To answer your question though, yes, it was pretty amazing. For not being a western fan, I was surprised how much I enjoyed it.
  • No, man! It's an unique game. Certain missions could make you shed a tear, like "Eva in Peril" side-mission. It was tense...
  • You are totally right, and the ending was great (well mostly) in that regard. Really wasn't expecting it.
  • That end left me overwhelmed.
  • It feels more like a mix of Fallout 3 and The Witcher 3 to me. Not that it's an RPG, because it's not, but regarding how the game feels and plays. I only recently started playing it, and I regret not getting it sooner.
  • Man... I know it is way too early in the development cycle to complain, but that trailer was too short! A year is going to be a long time. Good thing my backlog is so huge right now.
  • I kept thinking of Westworld while watching this trailer.
  • That's awesome. I'm sure that's going to be on the back of my mind the whole time I play it.
