Samsung's 970 EVO series of NVMe SSDs are blazing fast when compared against SATA SSDs and mechanical HDDs. Amazon has the 1TB 970 EVO listed for sale at £130 as part of its Prime Day promotions, which is a steal when you consider this is the 1TB model and not the entry 250GB variant.
Samsung's 970 EVO series are awesome upgrades for your PC so long as you have a spare NVMe supported M.2 slot, which is the norm with most modern motherboards.
With read and write speeds of 3,500MB/s and 2, 500MB/s, respectively, you'll notice a substantial improvement in performance in general load times of software and games, as well as Windows 10, should you opt to install the OS on the drive too.
Note that in order to take advantage of this saving, you'll need to be a Prime member (opens in new tab), which will not only unlock access to this particular deal, but everything else that will be promoted by Amazon for Prime Day. What's more, is you can sign up right now for a free 30-day trial now (opens in new tab).
