Sunset Overdrive's 'Dawn of the Rise of the Fallen Machines' DLC lands on April 1

Insomniac Games has announced that the next DLC pack for the Xbox One exclusive Sunset Overdrive, titled "Dawn of the Rise of the Fallen Machines," will land on April 1, bringing a new area, weapons, story missions, and more.

In Dawn of the Rise of the Fallen Machines, players embark on a rescue mission at the Fizzco Robotics facility, which quickly descends into chaos as players are tasked with assaulting the facility and its robotic guards. To get around quickly, players are also given access to an item called the "Energy Ball," which resembles a ridiculously deadly hamster ball.

As of now, there's no word on how much the pack will cost, but it is included as part of the season pass if you've already picked that up. Insomniac Games says it has more to reveal about the DLC ahead of its April 1 launch, so stay tuned for more.
