Surface UEFI - Firmware: 235.3261.768.0 - Improves start up performance.

That's the only listed change in the firmware update. The update is available to download now through Windows Update.

  • The 6 got firmware update too ... followed by a series of Intel updates. Not really sure what changed, if anything.
