Telescope provides you with unofficial access to Twitter's Periscope

The official app from Twitter is currently only available for iOS, but the company has noted that an Android version is on the way. This leaves Windows Phone in the dark, but the developer community has decided to strike back with this unofficial app, now available before Twitter makes headway on their Android offering.

Periscope for Telescope

The only problem with Telescope is that the app itself is fairly limited for the time being. The developer plans to roll out updates to add new features, but for now you'll be able to sign up, follow users, and view broadcasts. Here's a quick list of planned features:

  • Search for users
  • Edit your settings
  • Profile view!
  • Hearts and Messages!
  • BROADCAST!!!!!!!111!

If you believe video game streaming isn't quite enough, why don't you give Telescope a go and let people into your life? Or not. It's entirely your decision. As an initial version, we're impressed by the speedy release of Telescope. Give it a go and let us know your thoughts.
