Tesla Cybertruck 'inspired by games like Halo,' says Elon Musk
Now we know.

What you need to know
- Tesla unveiled the Cybertruck a few days ago.
- The vehicle is remarkably similar to The Warthog from the Halo franchise.
- Elon Musk said that the truck was inspired by games like Halo.
Ever since Elon Musk revealed the Tesla Cybertruck to the world, many gamers have been comparing it to the Halo Warthog. The Warthog, the iconic vehicle from the Halo franchise, looks quite similar except for the roof. The official Halo Twitter account even tweeted Musk about the similarities.

In response, he replied that the Cybertruck was inspired by games like Halo. You can check out the tweet below. I have to say, that's pretty cool.
Halo: Reach just launched on Xbox One and PC. While it's available through the Microsoft Store, you can also purchase the game on Steam. Halo: The Master Chief Collection contains Halo: Reach for $40, but you can also buy the game individually for $10.

If you look at the Steam sales chart at the moment, Halo: The Master Chief Collection is at the top, beating titles like Disco Elysium, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, and more.

I did want to run over some aliens with it the first time I saw it.
-
Are they similar because they both have four wheels, because that's about the only thing that is matching between the two.
-
You're like the only one that doesn't see it.
-
Feel free to explain the similarities then because here's a list of the differences. Completely different where and suspension system.
Open top versus enclosed.
Flat tray. The only visual similarity is the straight angled front end, that's it. -
Neither truck has a flat bed, so I don't know what you're on about there. And you have no idea what roof options there will be. Both trucks have a similar geometric shape, high wheel wells, angled front, angled rear. Of course they aren't copies, no one said they are. They are similar and the many memes comparing them clearly many others see the similar shape.
-
The Warthog has a flatbed at the back, how do you think a person can stand and use the gun otherwise?
-
Do you not know what a flatbed is? It means flat with no sides. Neither truck is set up like that.
-
You couldn't give me that vehicle. It's butt-ugly.
-
I think the design is going to evoke wildly differing opinions. I kind of like it, but also would likely never buy one. One person I know is quite intrigued by it, and likely wouldn't be flirting with the idea of getting one if not for the design.
