About a month ago, WPCentral broke the news that GameHouse’s TextTwist 2 would be coming to Windows Phone, along with four other GameHouse titles. TT2 - as I’ll call it this one time – is very much like the game of Boggle. Players receive a random selection of letters and attempt to spell as many words with those letters as possible. It’s good fun, I tells ya.
The mobile Xbox Live version of the second TextTwist (now I’ve gone and referred to it differently!) still doesn’t have a concrete release date. But that doesn’t mean you can’t try some letter twisting out right now. CNET is giving away the full version of the PC game (a $9.99 value) for free until Friday, September 9. All you have to do is sign up for the free offer and then you’ll receive a download link via email just moments later. And like most casual games, it’ll run on practically anything.
GameHouse’s Windows Phone games have been top-notch so far – Tiki Towers gets my vote for the best physics puzzler on the platform, and Sally’s Salon Luxury Edition and Doodle Jump both shine as well. We’ll let you know as soon as the Xbox Live version of Text Twist the second nears release. The PC version should help tide over word game fans till then.
