Torrex now lets you choose your download folders on Xbox One
By Dan Thorp-Lancaster published

If you happen to do a little bit of torrent downloading on your Xbox One with Torrex, the app has picked up another small, but nifty feature. Now you can choose any folder as a download destination for your torrents, including removable disks.
This was a feature meant to be in Torrex's original release, but the team behind the app says it was broken due to a slight problem with some UWP APIs. The Creators Update has apparently remedied the issue, allowing you to pick download folders to your heart's content.
Torrex is a torrent downloader built from the ground up as a universal app for Windows 10 PC and Mobile, Xbox One, and even HoloLens. If you want to give it a shot, Torrex is available in both free and paid flavors, with the Pro version running $7.99. I have the free version and didn't realize there was a pro version. What benefits does the pro version have?

No ads, and it can download in the background, even when the screen is locked.

I bought the Torrex pro version a few months ago for XB1, SP4 and L650, it still shows up as the lite version and does not sync across devices which I thought it would.. also it is extremely slow to download in fact compared to uTorrent downloading the exact same file in both clients at the same time its about 3 times slower, also downloads files again if the destination file is deleted or moved..??

I would be using it primarily on XB1. Does the pro version download in the background while, for example, streaming Netflix?
