The cost of the race includes more than just the ability to run virtually with thousands of others. It takes place on June 5, but you don't need to start at any specific time. The event is open for 24 hours, so all you need to do is launch the app and track your 5K run at any point during that day.

With it, you get access to a unique training plan via the Vi Trainer mobile app to help you get prepared. Whether it's your first 5K ever, or you're a seasoned running pro, the app is very helpful and can push you further than you thought possible. It starts with a 25 minute training session to get you through some of the walking, jogging, running, and breathing basics. From there, you can select from various workouts depending on your goal. You can do long runs, fast runs, short runs, walk to runs, and more. If you want to just go out for a quick mile, you can set up a run for that as a one-off, or you can custom tailor a whole workout program to get you prepared for the race.

For race day, you'll be assigned a bib number just like you would at any other race event, and you can keep up with real-time stats while you are running. There's a leaderboard to show you results, and the Vi trainer will help motivate you to do your absolute best.
