Official mydlink for Windows Phone enables viewing of Cloud Camera feeds, manage Cloud Routers

Dream of accessing and viewing your live Cloud Camera feeds on your Windows Phone? It's now reality with mydlink ( for Windows Phone, developed by D-Link. Enabling you to tune into the hardware remotely, the app also lets you manage Cloud routers from anywhere using either Wi-Fi or a data connection. Cloud Cameras and Routers by D-Link are part of the mydlink service. They help make lives easier for parents and homeowners with cameras and secure routers that are easy to set up.

The Windows Phone client is a well-designed solution from the popular service and hardware provider, with full support for H.264 video streaming with audio (depending on models). Aside from the expected features and functionality, what else is available in mydlink? You'll be able to save snapshots of the camera's video directly on the Windows Phone, which is always a bonus if there's something you wish to look at another time. The status of Cloud Camera and Routers are displayed for quick checks.

Some other cool features include toggling camera view modes between Night mode, Day mode and Automatic mode. It really is a perfect companion app for those who utilise said products from the company. • Very pleased with the rapid progression with WP app store, really is not lacking any essential and non essential apps with a lot of the 3rd party apps taking the place of official apps and sometimes are quite better. Kudos to ALL the devs supporting this young OS and for rapidly bridging the gap and putting it on par with other OS services.
  • Yeah, its good to see developers getting on-board! Looks the we are right types supporting the platform and the quality is very good.
  • Yes❕ It looks as though the app situation is turning around very nicely... 2013 has been a real surprise as far as official apps coming to the platform..
  • Was really waiting for this one!!! Then I checked my camera... Its the dcs920. This app supports the dcs930 and later!!! Man, what a strikeout. Get me all excited and then walk away. I need a cold shower. ;)
  • +1 for cold showers.
  • My camera is so old, I won't even bother to check. Its a step above serial, just bearly USB.
  • Technically USB is still serial, as its name stands for Universal Serial Bus. Still, I understand what you mean :)
  • Nice, well done dlink, this make me wanna change my router. :D
  • Nice.... i hope it has audio feed back, as well...
  • It does :)
  • Hmm
  • Gotta check these cameras out and see if they are worth getting to replace my current Foscam and TrendNet cameras.
  • This is great news! Thanks D-Link for supporting WP platform!!!!
  • ⬆⬆ This ⬆⬆
  • Too bad no mydlink Access-NAS app for WP8 as well.  Maybe they are working on it.
  • I've been waiting for this!
  • Pretty good, with audio feed! If only I could pin a camera to my start screen, and have a live feed as my live tile. IP cam viewer does this, so I'm sticking with them.
  • Please fix the link. Too many Https
