Want to win a AT&T Nokia Lumia 1020? There's a Facebook contest for that

Want to win a Nokia Lumia 1020 Windows Phone? Want to get it before everyone else? Here's your chance.

Nokia U.S. is giving away five AT&T branded Lumia 1020 Windows Phones over on Facebook. The contest runs until 11:59am on July 23, 2013 and entry is simple.  Just head on over here (opens in new tab) to Nokia U.S.'s Facebook page and enter your contact information. You'll need to be a legal resident of U.S. or District of Columbia and 16 years of age or older.

Entries are limited to one entry per person regardless of the number of Facebook accounts you own or use. You can get an additional entry for each Facebook friend who enters the contest in response to your invitation.  The five winners will be selected at random on or about July 24th from the eligible entries and will be notified by email.

Good luck everyone!

  • Only for us residents :(
  • Nokia U.S.A. is giving away 5 locked to AT&T. What did you honestly expect? This "U.S." only whining is getting rather annoying. They haven't even announced this phone for any countries apart from the U.S. (and a couple in Europe) and that includes Canada so I think we will just have to suck it up.
  • At times, It's good to live in the US. :P
  • And carrier-exclusive. No thanks.
  • USA! USA! USA!
But I'm on Verizon, so this is also a pointless contest for me.
  • Cry more.
  • I would love one... Too poor to afford it xD darn college. Good luck everybody :D
  • What the hell... I have a 920 and am on T-Mobile, but I just entered the competition. Not that I expect to win, lol.
  • Here's hoping for a UK competiton... I won my Lumia 800 back in 2011; time for an upgrade!
  • Don't want one, but I'll take a free one to put up on eBay. I could pay off a few bills with that money.
  • figured I would give it a shot

  • We really have to wait a whole 2yrs for an unlocked version? Who are you making phones for if you think I'll leave t-mobile for over priced at&t
  • I pay less for my Lumia 920 on AT&T than I did for my android phone on T-Mobile and the service is light years ahead of T-Mobile...Nobody needs unlimited data when there is WiFi everywhere...I use about 200mb a month and I have 4gb to use so it's not even an issue....Trust me...The grass IS greener on AT&T.
  • Ultimately, you DO get what you pay for. I've been with all 4 big carriers, att IS the best by a long way, especially for WP
  • Same here ATT is the best by far! You do pay for what you get! Saving an extra $30 to $50 a month isn't worth it especially if your a WP user.
  • the contest rules say it does NOT come with service, so i would think one could unlock it (being unactivated and relying on the user to have service to use with it already) without going through a 2Yr. contract for ATT. Plus, i wouldn't think you would have to get the unlock code from ATT anyways. My last ATT windows phone (an LG Quantum) was locked and i bought an unlock code for 99 cents and stuck in my TMobile sim and it worked.
  • Keep this contest a secret, I wanna win lol
  • *enters*
    **hopes to win**
***keeps dreaming of winning at least one of these kontests***
  • Want one? Move to the US!
  • Should be no big deal for T-Mobile customers. Win a free phone and tether it with your other phone when not around Wi Fi.
  • Some day I'm going to win one of these contests!
  • Entered twice don't know if that will help.
  • If its U.S.only why do you say one of the first people in the WORLD??
  • If I could hit you... Because it's TRUE. If you get the phone on July 24th, you will be one of the first "in the WORLD" as you say to own it--what US citizens aren't part of the world? Prove me wrong, I dare ya... Plus, that's what NOKIA says, not us. I'm going to start deleting stupid comments again...I can feel it and it's only Monday...
  • Yikes!
  • What me worry?
  • Daniel not having a happy Monday lol but seriously the comments are getting ridiculous and annoying....
  • Daniel, was not talking of Wpcentral at all only the ad
  • Ok. Ok. (Slapped twice on face) Got your point.
  • I really hope I win! Not getting my hopes up but I still entered :)
  • I set my Microsoft account in U.S region 5 months ago....does it count??
  • Worth a shot. I could take some really good pictures of my twins with that.
  • Still trying to win one of these contests
  • I gotta try!
  • I moved over to Android but I'll give it a shot.
  • Doesn't hurt to give it a try, who knows, since I don't gamble, this may be the only way I win something. Oh...., this is a big gamble isn't it???! ;-)
  • I gave it a shot but, I am on Verizon...
  • Jeez.. Not for Bruneians... *sob*
  • When I entered, the Facebook page asked for permission to access both my profile (not such a big deal) AND my FRIENDS list.  That sounds shady to me.  Why should I give them access to my friends?  I hit the "cancel" button, and it seems like I was still entered into the contest.
  • I would like to win this, that would help me out with my education, blogging, research, and being able to keep in comunication when i am not at my PC, thanks! sign me up and enter me for sure
  • I need a phone cause i never had one and i love nokie phones
