With the new and unimproved timeline feature being enforced on Windows users with the next update I unenrolled both my computers from the insider program. Wil' keep using them but eventually will likely transition them to Linux.

or just remember to use InPrivate browsing 😉

in what way has it not improved?
-
Yes, Local Scout was awesome. What sickens me most about all this is that Microsoft stupidly did NOT bring forward ALL the features from previous OS's. You don't come up with something new without making sure you don't LOSE capability you had before. Sure, change how that's executed, but you DON'T lose CAPABILITY. Microsoft refuses to get this.
-
You don't need to bring "all" the features just the best ones. But I get your point

Regarding Cortana, you keep pointing out the multiple personality disorder that IS Cortana. If Cortana isn't exactly the same in an app as it is in a launcher or WHATEVER, then THAT needs to be fixed. Cortana should be one integrated entity across every single platform/implementation. Cortana should be "aware" of its presence and respond accordingly. Again, Microsoft doesn't get this. In fact, NOBODY gets this--not Google, not Amazon, not Apple.
