Well that was really anti climatic.
-
The actual game trailer is better. Not sure why the interview one is here
-
I more meant what The Initiative is working on. Like they've pulled in all these big developers and staff and it's just Perfect Dark, a series which has had one hit and one miss. I was really hoping for a new IP.
-
I imagine that this is a reboot (although I haven't watched the dev interview, so maybe that is addressed there) so I don't think what went before has to matter too much.
-
Perfect Dark Zero had a crazy development cycle, including a rush to launch on the 360, that ruined any chance of it being great.

I never liked Perfect Dark back in the day because I always felt like it was Goldeneye with different weapons. I am actually looking forward to this because I felt the same way about Tomb Raider before the reboot and that totally blew me away.
-
To be fair, it's going to be on Game Pass so there is absolutely no reason for me not to give it a try, and I am looking forward to seeing what they accomplish. So fingers crossed.
