Microsoft announced its Xbox Play Anywhere program today as part of E3 2016, and we have the confirmed list of all the games for the program so far.

Xbox Play Anywhere lets gamers buy a version of the game on the Xbox One and get the same game on Windows 10, and vice-versa but with only one purchase.

Xbox Play Anywhere

Microsoft's main list of games that will support Xbox Play Anywhere, so far, includes:

  • Gears of War 4
  • Sea of Thieves
  • Forza Horizon 3
  • Scalebound
  • State of Decay 2
  • Halo Wars 2
  • Recore
  • Crackdown 3
  • Phantom Dust
  • Killer Instinct

In addition, Microsoft's ID@Xbox trailer for E3 2016 confirmed a few more games from that program will also support Xbox Play Anywhere:

  • Cuphead
  • Slime Rancher
  • The Culling
  • Everspace
  • Ark: Survival Evolved
  • We Happy Few

Certainly Xbox Play Anywhere is not a one-time event, so we should expect more titles in the future to be included. Of course, ultimately, the decision rests with the publisher to offer cross-buy for their game, but hopefully, more companies will jump on board. Either way, this should be a big boost for the Xbox One and Windows 10 too.
