Terraria is finally coming to Windows Phone this Friday! This is a popular action-adventure sandbox game from indie developer Re-Logic. You'll already find Terraria on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, iOS, Android and other platforms. It was announced well over a year for Windows Phone, but looks to finally be coming this Friday. And it'll bring Xbox Live integration!
Terraria is a popular indie RPG (think 2D Minecraft with more focus on adventure) on its way to mobile platforms. Launching today on iOS (iPhone and iPad), the title is being ported by Codeglue who also plan to release the title on Android and Windows Phone. 505 Games (who developed the Xbox 360 version) has announced on fan website Terraria Online that both Google and Microsoft's platforms will see Terraria soon.
Earlier last month, Daniel discussed the rise of Windows Phone and how the platform is now legitimate. The main proof was the slew of big apps that have been hitting the store for the first time or getting major updates. New apps like Tumblr, Hulu, and Pandora are helping tip the scales in favor of Windows Phone and its users. Want some more proof? Popular indie game Terraria is coming to Windows Phone later this summer.
