Xbox Video

Did you catch Godzilla in theaters earlier this year? If so you probably liked the film and might be interesting in owning in on Xbox Video. It's not out to rent yet, but you're able to purchase this action flick. The movie stars Kick Ass' Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Bryan Cranston, who needs no introduction. Let us know if you're going to buy this or wait to rent it. [PG-13, 2hr. 18min.]

Doctor Who (Series 8)

Doctor Who fan? Then you'll be happy to know you can catch the latest episodes on Xbox Video. You can buy a season pass to get all current episodes and future episodes. Right now only one episode has aired so far, but critics and fans have praised the new series and the new Doctor. [TV-14, 1hr. 20min.]

I can recommend the new DW series and the new TNP (lol) album 100%!

Also, I'd like to recommend Cali indie rockers Saint Motel and their new 4 track EP called "My Type". Absolutely brilliant.

Xbox Video prices are outta control. I would never pay $20 for a digital copy of Godzilla. The only thing I ever bought on Xbox Video was 42 episodes of TMNT cartoon (1989) for $10.

Most Blu Rays come with a digital copy for that same price. It doesn't make sense to buy on release day anyway (the price drops a lot soon enough, if you really want to build a collection you'd wait)

Better to wait for the actual disc. Sometimes you can get an awesome price for newly released movies. I've known WalMart to charge only 14.99 for the DVD the first week and 19.99 for a bluray/DVD combo. I'll wait even though I love the movie (Taylor's permanent deer-in-the-headlights glazed stare notwithstanding).

You guys complain about everything. The price for the movie everywhere is $20 (play store and itunes = everywhere) and I'd bet money that's set by the label/distribution/agreement.  Microsoft, Apple and Google aren't going to have a competitive advantage price-wise.  You'll land in price fixing land if you do.

Liberals are funny. So it's okay to force your view on someone but not okay for them to disagree. Seems like someone is having their rights violated.

Not wanting to support an artist with those views doesn't hurt that artists freedom of speech. Eminem can say whatever he wants he just might lose some fans/sales as a result.

Freedom of speech doesn't mean you will be protected from public reaction to your bigotry

Couldn't disagree more.  Your attitude reminds me of smokers who complain about being forced into designated smoking areas, despite me being forced to breath their poisins in for years as a child before smoking rules were tightened up.  Their right to smoke ends at my lungs.

And "tolerance" is insufficient.  We're merely supposed to "tolerate" people who are different from us?  I think we need to accept and love people who are different than us.  We don't always have to agree with them.  We don't necessarily need to let them act with impunity, as their ability to exercise their rights is understandably curtailed when exercising them would impinge on the rights of others.  But we need to accept them and love them.  What the hell's the point of life if we don't support and love each other?

I really doubt he's all that homophobic. Elton John is one of his closest friends who helped him get through some hard times. He's like Marilyn Manson, most of the shit he says is just to get a rise out of people and the media.

I read the Title in the Notification tray & I read ... Eminem, Doc ... And my mind went straight to DeTox lol. Dre been threatening to release it since god knows how long.
Guts Over Fear is cool, I like the lyrics but the beat didn't grow on me yet ... Looking forward to Shady XV ... Hope its more like The Eminem Show ... By far my favorite Eminem work.
Its gonna be a great year for Hip-Hop music ... With Em, that makes it 4 legends about to drop new albums.
Oh right, I'm mixing it Jazz & R&B this weekend, need to relax a bit lol

Eminem..Eminem....Eminem....Eminem....The Legend Lives Forever!!!...Xbox should give access to their music/videos in India and should be payable by carrier account balance or through wallet.

Can't play and access the xbox video only my saved video I can play there and the xbox music when I updated it become Music only that only plays the music in my sdc. i think it like the beat, nokia music and other apps by microsoft and nokia that is not AVAILABLE in THE PHILIPPINES. Now I know why WPhone is not as famous as the android, we can pay and buy a luxury phone like IPhone. What's the problem in PH?

Godzilla actually wasn't that bad. It was weird having him on our side, even felt sad towards the end when he wasn't feeling so hot lol....

Not that weird. In the old films like the one with Ghidora the three-headed dragon he teamed up with Rhodan and Mothra to help humanity out. Yes, in the early Godzilla movies he was pure destruction but he hooked us up a few times by fighting other monsters in later movies. :D

Everyone check out Charlie Simpson if you're into indie/folk/rock. He is incredible and his new solo album Long Road Home just came out this month. If you're into heavier stuff, his heavy band Fightstar are absolutely ace!!

Also I'm loving Doctor Who and the new Doctor. Peter Capaldi is great. Can't wait to see tomorrow's episode after reading the scripts of the first five episodes!

This article is hilarious, a weak link to Xbox music and video to keep it somewhat relevant. It's basically staff picks for music and tv, fair enough, but why bother with the weak Xbox link. Just have a staff recommends' series of articles and be done with it.

Too bad the Doctor Who looks like a scam. $40 for season 801. This emplies that as in the past there will be a season 802 which splits it in half. $40 is a bit high for half a season.

By who? This is another thing that I don't like about Xbox Video is that they don't really tell you exactly what you're getting.

I really want to invest in owning Xbox Video movies and shows, but the prices are so high (UK) and there are no great discounts like with Deals with Gold. Imagine if they did something similar for Xbox Video. Everyone in the digital video space is beating MS on price and library. This needs to change.

Slipknot has two new songs out, one just came out, the devil in I, and one that came out a couple weeks ago, the negative one

Where's the love for the Australian chick?

She nails it on one of em's bonus tracks for mmlp2. Another great colab on the second goround...
