4 new Oculus Rift demo experiences are coming to Microsoft's retail stores this week

Microsoft is starting to roll out some new VR demo experiences to its retail stores with the help of Oculus Rift this week. In all, four new games will be available from the demo stations, giving you plenty of ways to try out not only the headset, but the Oculus Touch motion controllers as well.

Here's a look at the 4 new demo games heading out to Microsoft Stores, from Microsoft:

  • Rock Band VR
  • Fruit Ninja VR
  • Lumiere's Dress Rehearsal
  • Robo Recall

Overall, that's some pretty good variety if you're looking to dip a toe into the world of VR. There's no appointment needed to jump in, but demos are limited to a fairly lengthy list of specific stores. And while it sounds like these particular demos will be limited to this week, select Microsoft Stores have actually been offering Rift demos since the middle of 2016, so it's likely those will still remain available going forward.
