Xbox controllers built with Hall Effect sensors and RGB lighting tend to have extremely high retail prices that go beyond the $100 mark.
However, GameSir's Kaleid Controller for Xbox has managed to maintain a surprisingly low MSRP of $49.99 despite being outfitted with Hall Effect sensors and RGB lighting. Plus, it's gone down even further thanks to this 20% discount for $39.99 at Amazon.
"It's everything I love about GameSir's previous G7 but transparent and with added RGB lighting, making it the best wired controller you can buy for Xbox." — Zachary Boddy, Former Staff Writer

Why buy the GameSir Kaleid Wired Controller?
GameSir's controllers often knock it out of the park with superb controls, comfy ergonomics, and affordable price points, and the Kaleid Controller for Xbox is no different. The Kaleid features microswitch controls that feel nice to press and respond extremely fast with barely, if any, latency, so your attacks and evasions don't get delayed in-game.
It also features Hall-Effect analog sticks and triggers. Hall Effect analog stocks use magnetic sensors to improve their input detection for smoother gameplay and to safeguard them from degrading ailments like "stick-drift," so your character doesn't move without your input.
Hall-Effect Triggers, meanwhile, are designed to better detect a player's input when pulling the trigger, whether it's slow and methodical or panic-inducing button mashing. With these controls, you will be able to line up headshots more easily in first-person shooters like Overwatch and better control a car's acceleration or brakes in racing games like Forza Horizon.
Other notable features include RGB lighting, a lightweight build with comfortable textured grips that fit snuggly in your hands without weighing them down, two extra remappable rear buttons, a Hair Trigger Mode so you can fire gunshots faster with the triggers, and an "M" that will let you adjust various features of the GameSir Kaleid.
The only real downsides are that it's wired only, with no 2.4GHz or Bluetooth connectivity. However, if you're like me and prefer using wired controllers since wired connections are often less lag-inducing than wireless ones, then the GameSir Kaleid is a great mid-range controller to own.
Also, with this 20% discount for $39.99 at Amazon, it's now become an excellent budget-friendly alternative to more expensive top-rated Xbox controllers with Hall Effect sticks and triggers out there.
