Alex Hunter returns for another season in FIFA 18

One of the standout new features of FIFA 17 was the story mode, known as "The Journey," following young starlet Alex Hunter through his rise to fame in the English Premier League. It added a new depth to EA's long-running franchise and the good news is that Hunter is back for a new season.

After a breakthrough first season in the Premier League, the whole world is talking about Alex Hunter. Now he's back for a second season, and rumour has it, he's on the move. The transfer window opens July 1st and you can experience The Journey: Hunter Returns when FIFA 18 launches September 29, 2017.

Based on the teaser just launched at EA's E3 2017 press conference, it looks like season two will pick up with Hunter getting set for a transfer, perhaps out of England.

As much as EA evolves FIFA with ever more realistic player likenesses and movements, The Journey was a significant addition for those looking for more that don't want to rely on online play. There's obviously been some success, and this year's Madden release will feature a similar single-player experience.

FIFA 18 launches on September 29, and is available to pre-order right now. As ever with EA games, EA Access subscribers will get an extra discount.
