Super-light ASUS ZenBook 3 Deluxe now available for preorder in the UK

This rather pricey laptop is a new offering from ASUS, weighing in at a whopping 1.1kg and measuring up to just 12.9mm in thickness. This is a super thin and light notebook, specifically designed to be transported around on trips and outings, or commuting to and from work. Yes, the ZenBook 3 Deluxe is £1,599 (opens in new tab) but you really are investing in a highly portable PC.

For specifications, we're looking at the following:

  • CPU: Intel Core i7-7500U.
  • RAM: 16GB.
  • Storage: 512GB PCIe.
  • OS: Windows 10.
  • Display: 14-inch 1080p LED.
  • Prots: USB 3.1 (Type-C)

In the packaging, as well as the notebook itself, ASUS bundles a protective sleeve coupled with USB3.1 to USB3.0 and USB3.1 to HDMI dongles. Preordering now will guarantee shipping once the laptop is released.

  • £1600?!!!! Whose buying two kidneys and a leg? Promotional offer: One knee cap for free.
  • Looks like an attempt to go down the route of the HP Spectre Laptop (But not as beautifully crafted IMO).
  • The smaller Zenbook 3 is really nice.
  • Good specs for the price, other than the screen
  • Dont see much of a reason at all to go with this over a Huawei MateBook X
  • I'm noticing a lot of spelling mistakes lately. #Prots
