ASUS Zenbook Flip UX560 leaked ahead of official unveil

ASUS is all set to unveil a new model in the Zenbook series at Computex next week, called the Zenbook Flip UX560. As the name suggests, the notebook features a hinge that lets you rotate the screen by 180 degrees, much like what Lenovo offers in the Yoga series.

Ahead of the launch, the folks at Notebook Italia have managed to get a hold of the specs and official renders of the notebook, giving us a look at what's to come. The 13-inch Zenbook Flip UX560 will allegedly offer a Core i7-6500U processor, 8GB of RAM (with configuration options going up to 16GB), 512GB SSD, USB Type-C (Gen. 3.1), Wi-Fi ac, HDMI, 720p webcam, and WiDi. ASUS is also said to be mulling a 15-inch variant with a Full HD screen.

  • Those specs look really nice. Hopefully they're real.
  • Did you mean 360 degrees, by any chance
  • By any chance, yes Sent from Windows Central App for Hololens
  • Looks like 360 + reflect from first image haha
  • But the Asus name is correctly! So this is an iDiot playing around!
  • It looks really nice, but I wish MS paid more attention to touch interface. With touchpads you can have various complicated gestures, but with touch screen it's just tap = mouse click.
  • "With touchpads you can have various complicated gestures, but with touch screen it's just tap = mouse click" Like the Mac?
  • There are apps that can fully customize the touch screen gestures to your hearts content.......https://www.microsoft.com/en-US/store/apps/TouchMe-Gesture-Studio/9WZDNC...
There are also apps that allow a virtual mousepad, and transparent keyboards, etc

.......no other platform offers as much touch customization, not even Android imo
  • Seems like a really skilled Photoshop employee who put Windows 10 mirrored!
  • I was wondering about that
  • Maybe it's Hebrew? :D
  • Apparently they don't know where the start button is supposed to be. Pir is this a "flipped" joke.
  • 180 degrees or 360 degrees?
  • Tired of these flip laptops with ugly hinges.
