AT&T Focus S 4G revealed in photos

The Windows Phone Blog didn't want to seem to wait for leakers to do their job, so they've gone ahead and published some new photos of the highly anticipated Samsung Focus S.

Specifications on the device are expected to be pretty high end:

  • 1.5GHz MSM8255 CPU
  • 1.3MP Front facing camera
  • 8MP Rear camera
  • 4.3" Super AMOLED Plus sceen
  • "4G" aka HSDPA+

Pricing and availabilty, unfortunately, have not yet been announced. But with the EOL of the Surround and Quantum, you can bet it's right around the corner.

  • Its.... Beautiful ;)
  • Looks amazing...
  • I sent this in lol It's a beauty indeed!
  • nice!..also noticed site has photos of the focus flash (titan too, but we've all seen that).did i miss something or is the focus flash the omnia w just rebranded for the us? i was under the impression it was a completely different phone, more similar to original focus or something..?
  • Why oh why can't T-Mobile get this phone or the Titan. Why?? btw, why does the Focus Flash have a faster CPU then the Focus S?
  • i would love to know this as well.. the focus s at the moment is my next phone unless nokia ace is due out asap
  • it looks "good" but i prefer the nokia design and i personally didnt like the camera on my focus
  • Word! Nokia World - 6 days and counting.....
  • I want to buy this the first day it comes out. Time to use my upgrade and get rid of my iphone 3G
  • this will be my phone, i just need to see those damn nokia phones before i make that decision
  • Titan is a little too big for me. Focus S looks beautiful, and the camera upgrade is very welcomed, as well as the speed increase. However, Nokia might just pull me away. Time will tell...
  • Digging the Flash styling more than the S...but need to wait for Nokia to do its thing & decide...this is good stuff.
  • then you are gonna dig the nokia sea ray
  • Gorgeous! I love the back of the device, and the screen is sure to be vibrant. Can't wait for AT&T to drop this phone, hopefully it'll be launched alongside some Nokia devices as well.
  • Sucks that the Focus S doesnt have a SD card slot.
  • Do you know this for a fact or are you just guessing?
  • Just what I heard from a friend who gets to test phones early. We'll see soon enough.
  • If this is true, that makes this phone a non-option. I need SD Card support.
  • @UnnDunn...Then WP is probably not the platform for you given that there is zero evidence that Microsoft or the oems allowing SD Card support.
  • Man why is it T-Mobile or Sprint not getting any of these phones? I am pissed off, this is ridiculous, ludicrous and disheartening. Ok i got it all out hahahhaha hopefully they will come soon to at least T-Mobile or Sprint here's hoping Nokia makes me proud.
  • looks like the galaxy s 2 from the rear, gorgeous hardware :D
  • Also looks like the Galaxy Nexus from the rear.
  • it looks like every sgs2 variant from the rear
  • Lol! I agree.
  • unless the ace blows me away this will be my next phone, if it has an sd card slot, then i will probably **** my pants out of excitement. it's even thinner than the sgs2 (att variant at least) :D
  • The back of that phone looks super **** I'll be spending alot of time looking at the back of that thing. No case for me (hopefully I won't drop this baby)...lol
  • i would rather get titan. This thing looks cheap like GS2
  • I dont think it looks cheap at all.Ive been flip flopping on most of these phones, but this looks really nice. like I did with my HTC in december, I'll probably just buy it so if Nokia hits a homer next year I can upgrade.
  • Interesting ... 4.3" Super AMOLED Plus sceen but at the same resolution, right? Faster processor, ff camera and 8mp on the back but no mSD slot. HSDPA+ is definitely a plus but this is a big slab of phone. I'll reserver judgment until I see it in person ...One more point ... how will the new gen phones perform under html5 speed reading? I would assume the new chips would mean better performance. Anyone? Anyone ... Bueller?
  • After using the Focus since WP released, I have decided that it is the best WP. If you check the "I'm a WP7..." app, you can see the most wp7 owners registered have the Samsung focus. Obviously the Focus S will be my only choice for an upgrade and that is mainly because of the Super AMOLED plus screen. I have never seen a screen more beautiful or vibrant from any OS or manufacturer. Reviews from all around have confirmed as well that the Super AMOLED beats any other screen out right now. If another device gets the super AMOLED plus screen then I will greatly consider it. Still, above all, the screen is gonna be 80% of the decision for me.
