Baldify - Go Bald is today's Windows Phone myAppFree Deal

If you have ever been curious how you would look bald, the Windows Phone app Baldify - Go Bald is here to help satisfy that itch. The app is from the same developers who created Oldify and Beardify. Instead of aging your photo or adding facial hair, Baldify removes a good portion of your scalp.

Baldify typically runs $.99, but through the myAppFree campaign over the next twenty-four hours, you can pick up the Windows Phone app free.

It is an excellent opportunity to create some interesting photos and video clips while saving a little cash.

If you are familiar with any of the other transformation apps from Apptly, the layout of Baldify - Go Bald is very similar. All you need to do is either snap a selfie or pull up an image from your Pictures Hub to edit.

You will have to line up a few facial markers that identify the location of the subject's mouth, eyes and ears. Once that is set, the app will remove a large portion of the subject's scalp and replace it with bare skin. You have the option to choose from an assortment of balding styles such as the Friar Tuck look, a receding hairline or even a Gorbachev style birthmark.

The end image is animated and you can save video clips that showcase a particular facial reaction. You can make your image yawn, sneeze, reacts to a fart and more. Pictures and video clips can be shared through the Windows Phone universal share picker. You can even combine the effects of other Apptly apps with Baldify. For example, I can make myself bald, grow a beard and gain a few pounds by combining Baldify with Beardify and Fatify.

Baldify normally runs $.99 with a few in-app purchase opportunities. As a myAppFree deal, over the next twenty-four hours you can pick up Baldify free (you still have the in-app purchase opportunities though). It is a nicely drawn up, fun novelty app for your Windows Phone and if you have been on the fence about picking it up, now is your chance to save a buck.
