  • Inside Xbox premiered a new gameplay trailer for Empire of Sin at Gamescom 2019.
  • Empire of Sin is set to release Spring 2020.

Set in 1920s Prohibitation-era Chicago, players take on the roles of infamous crime lords as they build up their reputation from a fledgling underground business to a proper gangster empire, a force to be reckoned with. Dynamic events and recruitable NPCs allow you to grow your gang and adapt to the world around you. True to life, you'll even be able to bribe cops in order to keep your empire under the radar.

In our preview of Empire of Sins at E3 2019, we've likened it to "XCOM meets Grand Theft Auto."

In Empire of Sin, players build their own ruthless criminal empire as one of 14 distinct bosses vying to run the seedy underworld of organized crime in the city. With randomly generated starting conditions, players will have to adapt to survive and do whatever it takes to outsmart, out-gun and outlast their opponents.

Empire of Sin is expected to release next spring for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
