Far Cry 5, The Crew 2, and new Assassin's Creed due within the next year, Ubisoft confirms

Ubisoft has just confirmed that has quite the lineup of games planned for release over the next year. As reported by IGN, Ubisoft revealed in its latest earnings call the Far Cry 5, The Crew 2, and a new Assassin's Creed title are all due for release within the 2017-2018 fiscal year, which ends on March 31, 2018.

Other than their impending releases over the next year, no details on the titles were revealed. That said, previous reports have pointed to an Egyptian theme for the next Assassin's Creed, and a recent alleged screenshot leak hints at the same. The official Assassin's Creed Twitter account also confirmed an announcement of some sort is in the works for E3. Given the timing, it seems likely that we'll learn more of Far Cry 5 and The Crew 2 at E3 as well.

Finally, Ubisoft also confirmed, once again, that the latest South Park Game, subtitled "The Fractured But Whole," will make its debut during this fiscal year as well. The follow-up to South Park: The Stick of Truth was previously delayed from its December 2016 release date to a more general Q1 2017 release, before finally being delayed again.
