UK video game retailer GAME has bumped its Windows Phone app to version 3, introducing a new interface and features to help enhance the loyalty card experience. So what's new in the latest release? Well, the team has managed to implement a brand new layout, which looks much better. As well as this, the app now supports Wallet integration.
Push notifications are now presently available, which enables the GAME app to push through unique promotions. The only complaint we have is that the new interface hasn't covered the login page / register account, etc. that all still sports the older, less attractive layout. But other than that, version 3 is looking much better.
Here's the full changelog for version 3:
- Brand new layout
- View more accolade detail and your progress against each one
- Quick links to Xbox and PSN points
- Register for push notifications to receive unique promotions
- Wallet integration
- Minor bug fixes and improved usability
You can download GAME Rewards from the Windows Phone Store.

Any news on a new game today?
I love this app!
Wow an a actual use for the wallet! Who'd have thought it!
well i guess with some providers you can even make NFC payment with it. rumours say its rolled out to everyone in combination with data sense
I don't know any providers worldwide that support NFC payments yet let alone any in the UK. Hopefully the carriers and the banks get their ass in gear soon.
I can't get it to show up in my wallet area though :S how do you do it?
Go into the promo section, it should prompt you into adding to Wallet.
I thought I'd give it a go, ended up buying Crysis 3 to get some points.
Would it be that hard to make a 7.8 version???
Only problem is for some reason it's not availble on my mobile, i have a HTC HD7. That was one of the first proper Windows Phones, so i'm guessing i need a phone with Windows 8 software?
