Fans of both Gears of War and Forza will soon be in for a treat on the racetrack. Custom racing suits based on Gears of War 4 are coming to Forza Motorsport 7, and they look pretty rad.
The two suits include helmets that share the same design as the iconic COG soldier helmet. The outfits themselves are based on the outfits Gears 4 protagonists JD and Kait sport in the game.
Unfortunately, these suits aren't open to everyone. According to Microsoft, anyone who played Gears of War 4 on Xbox One or Windows 10 before October 31 will get access to the suits on Forza. If you're among those ranks, you'll get a special code to download the suits via an Xbox Live message on November 20. Microsoft cautions that it could take up to two weeks to receive your code, so don't fret if it doesn't show up right away.
You'll also have to jump through a couple of in-game hoops to get the suits as well. Two new events, called "Pushing It To The Limit" and "Major Micro Track Days" are going live today. Each will reward you with one of the available suits when completed in Rivals mode.
If you have yet to jump into Gears of War 4 or Forza 7, both are available from Microsoft now for $39.99 and $59.99, respectively.
