Several versions of the Q60R series are on sale here. Upgrade to the 75-inch version for just $1,497.99 or go with the 55-inch screen while it's down to $697.99. These are ridiculously low prices for one of Samsung's best 4K TVs to come out this year.
The Q60R offers a lot of improvements over last year's Samsung TVs within the same price range. It has 4K resolutions along with a quantum processor that can instantly upscale content to 4K. Plus, Samsung's QLED technology, also called Quantum dots, offers 100% color volume with exceptional depth, billions of shades of color, and the sort of detail that looks great as a centerpiece for your living room. There's also support for HDR content through HDR10+, which helps bring every image to life.
It's also a great TV for playing video games because it has relatively low input lag, good motion handling, and support for AMD's FreeSync technology to reduce screen tearing.
When you're not using the TV, you can set the screen to Ambient Mode. Turn it into a work of art or display information that's relevant to you like the weather. You could set it up to show some of your favorite photos, too. The TV finds more ways to be useful even when you aren't using it.
The smart functions are very good as well. You can control it with your voice by hooking it up to an Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant voice assistant. Use the built-in Bixby voice commands, too. It can also be set up to work with other systems like Samsung's SmartThings or OneRemote.
