It's been a long time coming but Ubisoft has finally re-introduced Gods & Monsters, know known by its new name: Immortals Fenyx Rising. The company showed off the game during its Ubisoft Forward event today with a new trailer and finally a release date, December 3, 2020. We'll be journeying to the Golden Isles sooner than expected.
Immortals Fenyx Rising is a fresh and witty take on the open world action adventure genre, featuring dynamic action, combat and stories inspired by Greek mythology. Roam freely across a beautifully stylized world and use extraordinary abilities gifted by the gods against fearsome mythological monsters. Treacherous trials, heroic feats and the very underworld itself await your bravery. Experience a tale for the ages, of gods and monsters, and become the legend you were destined to be.
As the demigod Fenyx, you've been blessed with gifts from the gods including the wings of Daidalos, the sword of Achilles, the bow of Odysseus, and more. It's up to you to take down Typhon, one of the most evil and deadliest Greek titans, as he's freed from Tartarus and opens the veil between it and humanity.
Immortals Fenyx Rising is set to release on December 3, 2020 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, Stadia, and PC.
