What you need to know
- Grounded is a unique take on the classic survival formula by Obsidian Entertainment, the creators behind the Outer Worlds.
- At the Xbox Games Showcase, it got a new humurous trailer to hype players for the Game Preview.
- Players can jump in the Game Preview starting July 28, 2020.
Grounded is a passion project by a small team at Obsidian Entertainment, and sees players (either solo or working in tangent) tackle very big problems at a very small scale. You've been shrunk down to the size of insects, and now must survive in a suddenly far more dangerous suburban backyard.
This game has already been announced, and we've even been able to play it already, but Obsidian Entertainment is prepping to launch the Game Preview on July 28, 2020.
If you've been waiting for the next big survival game to take up all of your time, you'll definitely want to keep an eye on this one. Xbox Game Pass subscribers will be able to jump into the Game Preview the moment it's out, and work with the team behind Grounded to help the game improve over time.
