Hilton HHonors tablet app to be retired 'soon'

If you're a member of the Hilton HHonors loyalty program, you'll soon lose access to the HHonors app for Windows tablets. As announced on the app's store page, the Hilton HHonors tablet app will be retired soon, with the company directing users to check their benefits on the web or by phone. From the store listing:

We'll be saying goodbye to the HHonors tablet app soon, but you can still find all our great travel-planning tools and your Hhonors member benefits on the Web and by phone. We'll update you with more details here soon.

Exactly when the tablet app will be retired isn't clear, but it sounds like program members will still have access to the app on their phones.
