Imperia Online for Windows Phone update adds battle simulator and improved tutorial

Earlier this month, Game Troopers published the strategy MMO game Imperia Online for Windows Phone 8.1 and Windows 10 Mobile. Now the publisher is releasing the first major update to the game, adding a battle simulator and also improving its tutorial.
Here's what Game Troopers has to say about the game's new battle simulator:
"As you know, winning battles in Imperia Online is one of the most important things in the game. We have included an engine that helps players to calculate their battles with precision in order to get real military results. All in all, the battle simulator is a powerful tool that can make the difference between victory and defeat. A truly meaningful feature for both novice and expert players."
In addition, it outlined the improvements to its tutorial
- Smoother and simpler experience
- Directly linked to the simulator
- Steps are passed faster
- Visualization and descriptions are improved
- Auto-scroll function of the screens
- Buttons that must not be clicked are inactive and with grey color
What do you think about these new additions and improvements to Imperia Online? Let us know in the comments!

Its actually a pretty boring game.....I couldn't get into it, and this update.....I don't think it will help.

I'm starting to agree with you. Reminds me a lot of Emross War that I played on the Android platform. No chat is boring as hell in the game. Chat made it fun to talk trash while waiting on long upgrades. It also made it easier to find a good alliance.

I like it quite a bit, but it is a huge learning curve for me. The other issue is that in my map, pretty much everyone quit the game around me with tiny, undeveloped starting cities. I have developed a nice army, but trying to research enough to take them all will take forever.

Agreed, an exceedingly boring and tedious grind - unfortunately I will stick with it for the achievements. Game Troopers, while I appreciate their abundance of releases and focus on the platform, games they offer are generally quite polarizing - I either really enjoy or really dislike them.

I love the game. And when I saw an update, I hoped against hope that they'll include the daily quests/achievements (the one on the PC) to the phone version.
And much to my dismay.... Ah well, at least now I can know if I'm too weak to attack a barbarian camp before actually attacking them ^_^ -
I started playing March of Empires

Glad to see them update this game to make it more accessible.
