Microsoft unveils new Windows website with a new look

Now that Windows 8 is official, Microsoft is still going forward with the redesign and reimaging. Such is the case when you go to Windows.com (opens in new tab) or even their Blogs.Windows.com sites as both are showing a high-contrast look with the new logo.

We have to admit that we really like this new look. It’s bold, striking and of course it keeps in line with Microsoft’s Modern UI approach. Will it sell PCs? Not necessarily but Microsoft’s new look and image are key factors for consumers and we think they nailed it.

  • WOW. I'm really digging the design, it's simple and really pops with the colors and contrast. Three Dog salutes you.
  • They are missing the split view when using modern (metro) ie10. microsoft.com has it though. It does look good.

  • Yeah the new design looks superb, extremely modern.. I have a feeling a lot of websites will follow this design language. As for Win 8 pro, I've had the full version the past few weeks now thru corporate licensing. I love it, they've been slowly updating things, apps getting updated. Very, very good.
